Hello, I 'm Lucy and I have over twenty years experience teaching in primary education, leading primary mathematics and tutoring maths up to GCSE level.
I am passionate that every child should enjoy and feel confident in maths and I believe that, with great teaching and support, all children can excel. I love teaching maths and want all my students to enjoy the subject as much as I do!
I have a PGCE with QTS in primary education and an excellent knowledge of the primary maths curriculum having lead the subject at my school and having taught for the last 6 years in Y6.
I am currently studying part-time for my MA Education at York St John University, specialising in dyscalculia and maths anxiety.
Maths tuition - KS1 to GCSE
I offer face-to-face 1:1 and small group maths tuition from KS1 to GCSE based out of my home in Menston, Wharfedale.
I also offer online maths tuition where this is preferred.
